2nd Grade Lemonade Stands
The 2nd Grade Classes at Castleberry Elementary 2-3 had their annual Lemonade Stands on November 13th and 14th and raised $376.00 for charity, more money than they have ever raised. The students and staff worked very hard to make this event a success; the students made signs for the hallways and worked the lemonade stands, the teachers donated their money, time and supplies purchased to make the lemonade stand a great success and to help the children learn about the blessing of giving. The students adopted three angels, they are donating money to the library and to the nurses office, buying items for our soldiers and donating money to the Union Gospel Mission to help feed the homeless.
The 2nd grade students and teachers would like to thank everyone at CE K-1 and CE 2-3 for supporting us and making this event so successful. Without your help we woudn't have been able to do it and we are so thankful for everyone that contributed, Way to go Castleberry Elementary School! You rock!
