Annual Reading Bee Annual CISD 2nd Grade Reading Bee
On Wednesday, October 21, 2009, the CISD 2nd Grade Reading Bee was held at the Joy James Elementary School Library. Students from both Castleberry and Joy James Elementary Schools participated in the annual competition.
Tolu A., Claire H., Amaris W., and William W. represented Castleberry Elementary in the competition. Representing Joy James Elementary School were David R. and Daniella V. Tolu A., 2nd grade student at CE, was declared the winner of the district competition, and will be representing Castleberry ISD at the Score-A-Goal in the Classroom Regional Competition at Texas Christian University in November. William W., also a 2nd grader at CE, will serve as CISD’s alternate.
