“Score a goal in the Classroom”, invited the “Cool Cat” honor choir to open their monthly meeting on October 21st, 2009. The Castleberry Elementary choir performed a wide range of music at the Shady Oaks country club. Guests and members of “Score a Goal in the Classroom” were entertained with songs from Morocco and Liberia, Africa to a traditional German round song and dance.
Castleberry Elementary honor choir is a great opportunity that develops student’s individual talents while representing our school and community. Honor choir members consist only of Castleberry Elementary 3rd grade students, who meet the requirements of good standing academic and conduct grades, while making a commitment to their school, community and love of music!
It is a privilege and honor to perform for the community and with the children of River Oaks. Our goal as a choir is to inspire others to find the joy in life through music!
