Nominations for the identification of Gifted and Talented students will be begin November 30, 2009. If you have a student who is currently in grades K-11 and feel he/she may qualify for the Gifted and Talented program, you may nominate him/her by completing a parent nomination packet. To better assist parents, Castleberry ISD will be conducting three information meetings to discuss the nomination and identification process. Nomination packets for students in grades K-11 will be available at each meeting or from may be obtained from your child’s school counselor. Dates and times for the meetings are listed below.

Please note that is not necessary to nominate a child who already participates in the CISD Gifted & Talented program. All nomination packets must be filled out and returned to the school counselor by Friday, December 18, 2009.
