I was born and raised in Cookevile, Tennessee. I moved to Texas in 2001 to attend college at Abilene Christian University. I graduated in 2006 with a degree in Elementary Education. I taught kindergarten for one year in Mineral Wells, then moved to Fort Worth and began teaching in CISD at the beginning of the 2007-2008 school year.
